Who we are?

We are a team of curious and motivated young innovators from Võrumaa, Estonia. We are united by our passion for technology, discovery, and solving real-world problems. As students of Nuti-Võlur robotics club, we enjoy exploring new ideas, experimenting with technology, and turning creative concepts into practical solutions.

This year we are excited to take part in the FIRST LEGO League challenge UNEARTHED season, where we explore how technology can help uncover and understand the past. What inspires us most is the opportunity to learn more by asking questions, consulting with experts, and building solutions that could make a real difference.

We believe that young people can create meaningful change when they are encouraged to think boldly, collaborate, and experiment. With curiosity, teamwork, and a strong interest in innovation, we are ready to dig deeper, discover new possibilities, and build solutions for the future.

Our Innovation Project

In this season’s FIRST LEGO League UNEARTHED challenge, we explored how technology can help archaeologists discover hidden traces of the past. Our team focused on one key problem. Identifying potential archaeological sites from large digital elevation maps.

As a solution to this problem, we designed an AI-powered system that can analyze terrain data and automatically detect patterns that may indicate ancient burial mounds or other archaeological structures. This approach could help archaeologists save time, analyze larger areas, and reduce the risk of important sites being overlooked.

We learn by exploring the work of archaeologists, experimenting with technology, and building a real solution to a real problem. Every step of the project gives us practical experience with the engineering design process.

Our Robot Design

Our robot was designed to solve missions on the robot game field with precision, efficiency, and reliability. We focused on creating a strong and stable structure while keeping the design flexible enough to adapt to different tasks during the competition.
